It is a specialist-level certification from Cisco focused on Security Automation using Python, REST APIs, YANG/NETCONF, and integration with Cisco Security solutions such as Firepower, ISE, AMP, and Umbrella within automation frameworks. Do I need certifications before it ?
No, not required.
However, it is academically recommended to have studied SCOR 350-701 fundamentals, possess basic knowledge of Python, and have hands-on experience with at least one Cisco Security solution such as Firepower or ISE. A foundational understanding of APIs is also highly beneficial.
Which certifications are recommended after this one ?
Not mandatory.
However, if you are aiming for a strong path in cybersecurity automation especially in threat detection automation, incident response, and security policy management using Cisco tools the Security Automation specialization is the strongest option.
