Do I need certifications before it ?

No, not required.

However, it is academically recommended to have a solid understanding of security fundamentals especially SCOR 350-701 content along with prior knowledge of email protocols such as SMTP, DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Basic experience with Email Gateways is also highly beneficial, as it significantly simplifies understanding and practical implementation.
